Lions 03:15 video
‘Lions’ Chambered in your heart, boxed into your soul Magic rivers flow Turn the radio up, turn it up, turn it up Let the rivers flow You realised the truth was always chasing you Listen to the songs now, wake up and listen, Only when you walk it only when you know When you know, you know, you know, you know it yeah Sing us a song Come real close yeah, so we can hear you Sing us a song Turn it up yeah, so we can hear you Hear the church bells chime, Let the day begin, let the day begin Smell the morning light, take the first breath in I'm so glad that I am a dreamer Everybody says you won't get anywhere with your schemes So get a job, wake, wake up yeah Play the numbers right so you can get the right To wake up like a lion, rise from the slumber Sing us a song Come real close yeah, so we can hear you Sing us a song Turn it up yeah, so we can hear you Keep us on the bright side, bright side of the road Keep us never knowing where we're gonna end up All we want is freedom, all we want is real Even if we don't know, when you know, you know yeah Sing us a song Come real close yeah, so we can hear you Sing us a song Turn it up yeah, so we can hear you Phillips/Clapham 2018

Somedays 03:07 video
‘Somedays’ Somedays when it rains it truly pours And all the things we said they seemed so unsure If you’re not happy then why don’t you leave Hey, if you need an hour or two you can lean on me Lean on me, lean on me… It’s not been easy, I never promised it would I am not so special just sing now and again Sometimes your hopes get down on their knees Down on your knees go your hopes and dreams How it rains down - Lord how it rains down Through that crack in the ceiling it just pours Lord how it rains down - Lord how it rains down Through that crack in the ceiling it just pours Into every life you see a little rain must fall Into every life you see a little rain must fall, fall Come pick me up when I fall Come pick me up after the storm Come pick me up when I fall Come pick me up when sunrise calls Somedays (somedays) Lord how it rains Through that crack in the ceiling it just pours Somedays (somedays) Lord how it rains Through that crack in the ceiling it just pours Phillips - Clapham 2019

about

The Gorstey Lea Street Choir Burntwood, UK

The Gorstey Lea Street Choir formed one cold winters night in December 2016. Two friends on a life long journey.

Michael first met Russ in 1985, Michael was 15, Russ was 19.

31 years later we have started making music together.

Here are the fruits of our labour, brought to you with realism, hope and in glorious technicolour...
